Sehome's girls soccer team falls in state championships



            On Saturday, Nov. 17, Sehome’s girls soccer team lost in the 2A State Championships, 1-0, to Sumner High School.
            The loss capped a 20-2-1 campaign, which at one point saw the Mariners win 16 consecutive games.
            Sumner’s Kaitie Huff scored the lone goal of the contest in the 34th minute.
            Sehome will be losing eight seniors to graduation, including second leading scorer Hanna Tarleton, who contributed 13 goals and 17 assists this year.
